This Head wrap is named Nanchon for its colors in representation of the 7 Nanchon Lwa. In Haitian culture and Vodou the Nanchon are families of spirits serving a similar function… with the most prominent Nanchon being Rada, Nago, Djouba, Petwo, Kongo, Ibo and Gede.
